Timber Awning

In 2025, my parents bought a metal awning online for the front of their shop, and like many things sold online, it wasn't quite as nice in real life as it was on screen. I had a decent amount of Eastern White Pine leftover from various projects, and even though it is definitely not best practice to use Eastern White Pine timbers in an exterior setting, I said I would make an awning to replace the metal one, with the understanding that it would have a shorter lifespan than a rot-resistant species like White Oak, Cedar, etc. Its been up for about a year now - so far, so good!
