In 2025, I was asked by Rogue Fitness to assist in constructing wooden panels as part of a replication of the "Mons Meg" cannon, used in their annual Rogue Invitational Strongman and CrossFit competition. With design instruction from Rogue's Engineering team, I constructed the panels from solid Maple slabs, and mortised in faux beams. Each slab was 2.5" thick, 30"+ wide, and around 9 feet long! I played a small part in this extraordinary build! Rogue's commitment to the sport of strongman is unmatched.
